Plymouth: Winnie is a 10 year old Doberman and is currently on foster in Plymouth. Don't be put off by Winnie's age, there is most definitely life in the old dog! She runs and runs and runs and loves it!! Winnie is fully housetrained and is quiet and settled all night. She can be left her for short periods of time and is not destructive at all. She is a very friendly girl and loves a fuss from everyone she meets. However she is a bit of a leaner so would suit a family with older children as she doesn't care who she leans on and and may knock a younger child over. She cannot be rehomed with cats as she gets VERY excited and would definitely chase a running cat. Winnie has been very friendly with every dog she has met, politely sniffing then moving on. She pulls on the lead a little initially but soon settles down and walks nicely. Her foster mum has let her offlead and she has great recall Winnie is has no issues around food and quite happily eats in the kitchen alongside the resident dogs in her foster home. Winnie is looking for an active home with older children and no cats. All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to rehoming. A homecheck will be required, and you will need to come and meet the dog with your own dogs and family. Hope Rescue rehomes throughout the UK. A Pre-Home Interest Form can be downloaded from www.hoperescue.org.uk and should be returned to dogs@hoperescue.org.uk

Talysarn, N.Wales : Am emigrating abroad end of year and have to re-home two lovely dogs together. Brother and sister have never been separated. Welsh collie/spaniel mix. Vaccines are updated, micro chipped and neutered. Aged approx. 8/9 yrs in perfect health. Used to running around in large fields. Snoopy lives outside but his sister Lulu prefers to sleep indoors! They love small children and all sized animals from small holdings. Photo is of Snoopy. Am heartbroken so the home must be extra special please!!

West Wales: Rex is a 4 year old Labrador x collie, who young fell down the stairs and broke his hip when he was a youngster. This was all replaced by a metal joint and pin. It doesn't worry him at all, except he sticks the leg out a bit when he sits down. He is very loving and very kind, and gets on really well with all other dogs. He hasn't done much lead work, but has good recall when off the lead. He is house trained but may have the odd accident initially. In the evenings he can be a bit whiney as this is when he used to play ball with his family. He loves long walks and runs off the lead, and eats anything. He needs to be kept on a low protein diet, as he can be more energetic on anything else. He hates being shouted at, and if emotionally upset can get a bit of a runny tummy. He is a really lovely, soppy boy and sometimes likes to think he is a lap dog. If you can offer Rex a loving, forever home, please call 0845 4630623 or email rehoming@ceredigionanimalrescue.org.uk We rehome all over the UK but always carry out a home check.

Ynys Nr Harlech North Wales: We have 4 hens to re-house. The last owners moved house & left them with us, I am not able to look aften them properly

26 Aug:

West Wales: SAKIMA 19 MONTH OLD GERMAN SHEPHERD. Sakima is a 19month old German Shepherd dog who has come back to us through no fault of his own. He
Is good with children and lived with another female German Shepherd. He has good recall, travels well in the car and is house trained. He is still learning basic commands and would benefit from some further training.
Sakima is a very intelligent boy and would do well with agility or obedience, as he likes to be kept busy. He does have a tendency to chew sometimes when left, but this is probably more through boredom than deliberate destruction. If you think you can offer Sakima a loving, forever home, please contact 0845 4630623 or email rehoming@ceredigionanimalrescue.org.uk. We rehome all over the UK and always carry out a homecheck.

24 Aug:

South Wales: William is a 6 year old Bichon Frise currently on foster near Abercarn, South Wales. William seems to be very happy being fostered with 3 other Bichons and although he gets on well with them all has not yet started playing with them when they try to get him to play. A home with another small dog would be nice. He loves walks and is excellent both on and off his lead. William is dog, cat and small animal friendly. He will have to be re-homed with someone who is at home most of the day and doesn't mind William following them. Everywhere! that includes the bathroom!! He will have to have his bed in his new human's bedroom as well. He doesn‚t cope well with being alone.

LuckyMilton Keynes: Lucky is a 4 year old Lab x Collie and is currently on foster in Milton Keynes. Poor Lucky was abandoned by her previous owner, then found herself at the pound and then in foster so her new owners will need to be patient and let her take introductions to new things and new people slowly. She is a delightful girl and is very loving and trusting and when she gets to know you will make a wonderful and loving companion. She really doesn‚t like to be left and will cry and bark initially. We would prefer her new home to have limited time away from her and be willing to start her home alone training from scratch and build it up very gradually. Ideally she would love her new owner to not work, be retired, work from home or have a dog friendly place of work. Lucky could live with children 8+ and is cat friendly in the home but see's them as fair game when outside. There is no malice she just thinks it's a great laugh! Agility could also be an option for Lucky, she has a huge gazelle style jump and takes direction very well. Although not essential, she would like and benefit from classes such as those for the KC Good Citizen awards as she responds well to reward based training and continuing such classes through the different levels would be great socialisation for her and really build her confidence. Lucky would like a quiet home, not one in a busy street or main road. She would like an active home where her people have lots of time to take her for walks and spend time helping her trust and increase her confidence, along with teaching her new things. She would love a good sized secure garden with room to wander and for her people to play with her.

West Wales : Chelsea is a lovely, friendly Jack Russell, who came to us because she was left on her own quite a lot. Because of this she suffers from separation anxiety, and would need to go to where there is someone home most of the time. She loves a cuddle, but can be full of energy sometimes, and would need long walks to tire her out. Typical of Jack Russells, she can go selectively deaf, but will eventually come back. She‚s not good with cats, and we feel she would be a little too boisterous for young children. If you feel you can offer Chelsea a loving, forever home, please contact 0845 4630623 or email rehoming@ceredigionanimalrescue.org.uk. We rehome all over the UK but will always carry out a home check. Chelsea

West Wales: BOB 2YR OLD CHOCOLATE LABRADOR
Bob is a 2 yr old typical Labrador. He loves people and gets on with other dogs, as well as cats & livestock. He travels well in the car, and has been trained to come back to a whistle. He lives with another dog at the moment, and we feel he would be fine in a home with another girl dog for company. You would need to have a secure garden as Bob can be a bit of an escape artist, but will only wander to the nearest home where there is someone to play with!He has bundles of energy and would need quite a lot of exercise, perhaps agility or obedience training. If you think you can offer Bob a loving, forever home please contact 0845 4630623 or email rehoming@ceredigionanimalrescue.org.uk We rehome all over the UK, but will always carry out a homecheck

RosieAberystwyth: Rosie is a 3 year old Westie and is currently on foster in Aberystwyth, North Wales. When Rosie first came into Hope's care she was suffering from a severe skin condition. Thanks to her foster mum this is now greatly improved. She is far bonnier than this picture shows. Currently Rosie is living happily with another dog and cats. She can be left for a few hours and is not destructive. However, her foster mum advises 'not' leaving any food out...your Sunday joint might get munched! On the other hand you will return to a very content and full up Rosie. She has no real training needs, walks well on the lead and is 99% housetrained. Rosie can be nervous of strangers initially and is not keen on children. For this reason we will only rehome Rosie to a household where there are visiting children only.

Warwickshire: Sooty is a black semi-long haired kitten aged 10 weeks approx looking for a new home. She was born under a water butt in someones garden along with her siblings. Her mum and the other kittens have all now been re-homed, so just Sooty left looking for her forever home. She is very relaxed, happy and docile with lots of play in her. She would like to go to a home in the Warwickshire area so she can see the rescue's vet for neutering at 6 months. Please get in touch if you are interested. Thanks.

Midlands : Rupert is now around 4 years old & has never had a home to call his own, this is last chance saloon for him.
He is very friendly but tends to get a bit excitable & likes to have a sneaky nip. He would therefore suit a home with patient & experienced cat owners.
He would possibly suit an indoor home, but if he is to be allowed out (no busy roads please) he must be kept in for several months to begin with.
He is neutered, vaccinated & micro chipped. We do look for donations in the region of £50/cat, kitten
Viewing is allowed at this foster location, but prospective homes will be visited.

SE London:
I have a loveable, gentle 2 year old, medium - large brindle mongrel. She is a great family pet, who is well loved. She is good with children and a brilliant guard dog. She suits someone who will love her like we do. Unfortunately I have to move and cannot take her. She would not suit a flat, but would suit someone with quite a large property or a large park or garden. Please appreciate that she would be extremely missed.

New Malden, Surrey: Hi I am looking for a new home for my Siamese cat - Gizmo (Pedigree). I moved to a one bed flat at the attic, where i used to live before liked to go out regularly to the garden and surrounding areas. Since I work a lot he is staying most of the time alone. He is not very happy as he loves a company of people and giving him lots of love and attention. He's not the best with other animals. Doesn't have a microchip. If you feel like you can love him and take well care of him, I will be happy to pass him over.Anna ;)
